Search Contacts

The search form is on the Contacts main page.

View Public; Contacts - Public

The View Public option brings up the Contacts - Public page, which lists all contact records available to the public. This page does not require user authentication.

If you own a record, a button will be displayed. Click it to bring up the Contact Record Update Form to change, replace, copy or delete the record.

View Friends; Contacts - Friends

The View Friends option brings up the the Contacts - Friends page, which lists all contact records of friends. This page is private which requires user authentication.

Update Contacts

This option brings up the Contacts Update Request form, which starts the process of updating the contacts data base. This include

Contacts Update Request

This form accepts the following inputs.

Contacts Database The data base you would like to update. Select Public, Friends or Families.
First Name Any characters.
Middle Name Any characters.
Last Name Any characters.
Organization Name Any characters.

Click to submit request for a contact record update.

Contact Record Update Form

This form accepts the following inputs.

owner The initial value is your user ID. It indicates that only you can change the record. But you can change it to another valid user ID.
full name or
organization name
This is the name you entered in the Contacts Update Request form. You are not allowed to change it here.
nickname The initial value of a new record is the first name. You may enter anything you want. This field is required for a Family record.
gender Click female, male or none of them.
birthday Enter 1-12 for month, 1-31 for day of month, 1-9999 for year, All fields are optional.
address
(home or mailing)
Multiple lines, any characters.
city Any characters.
state/province Enter abbreviation of the state or province.
zip/postal code Any characters.
country Any characters.
telephone Any characters.
pager instruction Any characters.
e-mail box address Any valid charcters for an e-mail address.
e-mail box description Any characters.
web site address Any valid characters for an URL.
web site description Any characters.
comments Multi-line, any characters.
